This syrup is prepared from hand-picked wild rosehips, combined with freshly squeezed lemon juice and unrefined sugar. It provides a fantastically rich source of vitamin C. We find it a wonderful tonic for the dark winter months, when our immunity can be lower and our exposure to the sunshine is reduced.
Rosehip syrup has long been used to help the body deal with infections and to maintain health and vitality.
Directions for use: The syrup can be taken straight off the spoon or added to hot water to make a warming drink. It is also delicious poured on porridge or ice cream for a treat.
We recommend 10ml each day during the winter, and double this dose when feeling ill or run down.
